It is best to breed female hamsters that are older than 4 months of age. Otherwise, the hamster may destroy its own litter. Also, do not touch the hamster babies. Otherwise your sent may get on them, and the mother hamster may not recognize it as her own baby. It is usually a good idea to only breed hamsters of the same breed, unless you are breeding your hamsters for pets or for food.
